Explore and make "flashcards" and a study method for all new vocabulary for part two of Ch. 8, pp. 284-285.

Try using the website, "Quizlet." I am not opposed to cooperative sharing of the vocabulary. You can work this out as a class. Everyone should bring in flashcards on Wednesday, however:
http://quizlet.com/
The idea would be to use the many features of the website to STUDY BETTER.
On Wednesday, Matthew and Andrew can show these other features to the class.

Mini-quiz on demonstrative adjectives (including aquel, etc.). Also know the adverbs for here, there, over there. See yesterday's post. Very short quiz (10 questions).

Thursday, March 10, 2011

HW due Fri., 3/11

You will make a new and expanded chart about "demonstrative adjectives." Start with the chart on p. 278. Then add one more set of words:

aquel, aquella, aquellos, aquellas

Then, draw a "map" of the Spanish person's concept of space. It could be a brain, a place, etc.

The ideas represented would be "here," "there," and "more over there."

Here = aquí, acá

There = allí , allá

Way Over There = más aquí, más allá

 In each of these areas above, make one sentence using a demonstrative adjective appropriate to the area, such as "Me gusta este vestido rojo."
